Well it is my 12 th birthday today and  as you can see from my picture we went for a nice walk to celebrate.

I have some sad news. My friend Mister who lived with us for ages had to say goodbye and he was only 10 years old. He did love my chair though

. 

His friend Phil didn't stay with us forever  and has gone to a new foster home where he is happy.  He did take pink flamingo with him. 

Even sadder is that my best friends Dave and Muffy are no longer with us either and had to have the vet visit all in a week.  But here is me with Dave and Muffy.  

I have had visitors though - a very cheeky pup called Robbie and a lovely girl called  Janice. Janice found a lovely new home but Robbie is still looking. 

I have a new friend called Ivor who is no trouble at all for an older lady like me. 

Nearly 10 years old now!

With such a big birthday coming up I was just wondering how that brother of mine Marley is doing because we haven't been in contact. Hope he is as fit and healthy as me. I'm still the youngster in the house apart form my visiting friend Cherry who goes to her new home this weekend. Muffy will be 15 this year and Dave 14.
I have been busy for a few months now trying to train the household  to get up on time every day not just weekdays.

Bradley stayed with us last year but is in a lovely new home now.

Cherry is our very sweet foster girl who was living on an allotment before ending up in rescue.

Here's a picture of a very cheeky boy Nelson who is staying with us at the moment. He plays with me sometimes and he hasn't sat in my chair yet which is a bonus.

Poor Levi wasn't very well at all and didn't come home from the vets.

Hello again!

What lovely weather we are having. Just been catching up on my sunbathing today. Been helping Mum and Dad in the garden too - they needs supervising.there are all these horrible prickly and stinging things that stop me wandering where I like. they just appeared out of nowhere and keep getting bigger. Too sore on the toes if you ask me.But it is getting better.
Mostly though I have been sleeping, with my friends Muffy, Dave and Levi.
I have to keep an extra special eye on Levi at the moment - he keeps getting special food if I'm not careful. Mum says he needs it but I bet I can get there first :)

It's official - I am the cleverest!

We have a collie lurcher in the house, Tommy who has all the toys out. So the choc drops go in the bottle / rope toy and guess who figures it out ??? I worked out to tip the bottle upside down to get all that lovely choccy out. Of course now no-one else will ever learn because it is all mine!!

Yum Lasagne!

I had such a lucky find yesterday. Went in to the kitchen and sat on top of the cooker thing was two nice bowls of yummy lasagne. Luckily they were nice and cool so I managed all of one bowl and managed to lick the cheese off the other. Then I was so worn out I had to go in the living room for a lie down - all puffed out with the effort I was. Then mum ran out of the room for some reason..... I went with her of course and for some reason she decided it was garden time for me. I think that she was very unfair - I could have managed the rest but she gave it to Levi and he didn't even find it!

Must admit I am a bit worried today. My brother is going to have an operation tomorrow so paws all crossed here .

New friend visiting for the holiday

We have a new boy Tommy in the house for a couple of weeks while his family are on holiday. He is young and a bit bouncy but doesn't play too much. Luckily as well he hasn't tried to sit in my chair either.

Off on a winter holiday

Levi and myself are such fun loving friends that we are a bit too much for Grandma to cope with anymore - she looks after Muffy and Dave.
So we went off to stay with Emma at Happy Hounds boarding and it was a home from home as you can see from the pictues.
Levi and I are so well behaved with little dogs that we are even welcome back another time. I must admit that I spent most of my holiday on the sofa and didn't even get up early in the morning.

Our summer visitor

I have forgotten to update recently so we have a lot to catch up on. We had a very cute boy to stay in the summer called Coco and he found a lovely new home. We had great fun playing together though.

Chair report

Well I have to say that although I put up with sharing MY CHAIR with Muffy, I also had to share with Musky recently. How is a girl to get her beauty sleep? Aslo I need that chair to look out of the window. I really think I should be the only one allowed on the chair. But what I can't understand is when people sit in my chair - what a cheek - I make sure I try and jump up too but can't always find the space. Quite honestly though they don't try it often because my chair is a bit doggified now and has a houndy odour to it.

Dave

Dave is an 8 year old lurcher who found himself in a pound with a death sentence over him if no-one came forward. Rescue Remedies stepped up for him. He came here as a foster and we just decided he would have to stay rather than go back to a noisy kennel. He likes to play by chewing my leg which I don't mind becasue he is usually quite gentle.

Busy busy busy

Well we were packesd to the rafters here for a while with 5 dogs in the house. Dave my new lurcher friend moved in about a month ago but we are back to 4 dogs now.
